This is my selfie set. I've never been a big fan of selfies and I was not excited to do this assignment. Since I finally completed it, I still wasn't happy about the selfies since I think they look kind of embarrassing. However, my favorite selfie of these was the Ghost Lens one because it gave me a chance to actually interact with myself like you see in most movies. I enjoyed doing different poses for the photo even if it was basically taking two photos and merging it into one. My least favorite out of all of these was the feet selfie. I just thought it was weird to take a photo of my own feet. I mean where is the fun in that?! Honestly, my feet selfie had no value to it and when I took the photo, it was difficult for me to keep my balance while doing it. I thought I was successful in my appropriation portrait because I was able to line up my face properly even though I wasn't able to keep the beard. When doing this in Photoshop, I learned it's very important to line up your photos correctly when you're editing them into famous artworks. It works so much better that way you are able to use the face instead of the whole body.
